I'm super tired.. so looking forward to 30 Nov'09! Exams will be over by then. ;)

What a Monday...

I was reading my German text last night.. I slide my textbook up against my laptop's keyboard accidentally... and guess what, my "w" came off the keyboard.. -.- And I have to bring my laptop back to 8 flags to get it fixed. It's kind of embarrassing..

After this incident, I accidentally spilled a glass of water onto my sister's masterpiece of friendship bands. Luckily, I'm fast enough to shift my laptop away, if not.. I can't imagine what will be the outcome..

Completed my 3rd week of school for this brand new semester!

It's challenging but tiring one. Till now I think I'm still coping relatively well with everything.

I love the modules this semester, pretty interesting. I'm taking 2 electives, German and Japanese. Cool isn't it? 2 languages! ;)

Tutorials and seminars assignments are still managable so far. Apparently, this semester seems better as compared to previous. Maybe there is a "force" that is pushing me, I'm really pushing myself to my maximum limits, all the way till the end of the semester!

Had lots of NAAT events. Finished with recruitment drive, selection of new student auditors and welcoem tea was last night. It was great and pretty successful! However, I was having a bad cramps last evening, was feeling super umcomfortable. Tomorrow will be our very first igNAATion (orientation day)! NAAT is growing.. progressing towards our 5-year plan. Currently, I'm trying to get a club room for NAAT, really fighting hard for it, with all my supporting reasons and with all the different people been keep in the loop of the email. Really hope that they can do something about it.

That's all about school...

 

Work.. my tuition kids.. I've been putting so much efforts to guide and teach them.. why are they all disappointing me.. especially those having their 'O's this year.. :(

I've been doing so much to motivate them, guide them.. hope that after their prelims they will finally realize how important this exam..

 

Social life... pretty exciting too.. met up with my hall 12 friends to mind's cafe... lol.. I'm really bad at acting games.. I seriously can't act... that's why I'm an accountant.. LOL . Oh ya.. I really want to meet up with him.. but I guess he's just too busy with work and some other stuff. AND I really no courage to ask him out again.. Know that he's busy, don't want to disturb him. Hope that can see him soon! Part of my motivation thi semester!

Friday was NBS Welcome day.

Wa too tired, actually was too reluctant to get down my bed to go school. Thank Eunice, she drove me to school..

Before welcome day, help NAAT with the transporting of goodie bags items from nanyang house to S4. Thereafter, the 2 of us went breakfast at can B. The whole welcome day event lasted till 4:30pm. Both of us went to Hall 12 FOC closing ceremony,we didn't stayed throughout the whole ceremony, cuz I need to rush to elsewhere.

Eunice drove me to Sengkang and I took train from there. It was an exciting journey, driving in a car that is running out of petrol.. both of us were so worried that what if we are stuck in the middle of the expressway.. luckily we manage to reach sengkang's petrol kiosk safely... LOL.. exciting!

 

I had an appointment with Jude at orchard. He reached there at 6:30pm when we supposed to meet at 7:30pm. He went to queue at Sho Teppan for our dinner! I bet he queued for quite sometime.. cuz I reached at 7:25pm, just in time to enter the restaurant. Thanks Jude for the great dinner! After dinner, we went shopping! It's really great to meet up with him.. hope to see u soon ya! ;)

 

Sat evening, went to steve's house to get some of the documents from his parents and had dinner at his place. ;) Thanks for the nice dumplings ;) Had a nice chat with his parents and I reached home at almost 12 midnight...

 

Sunday... silly me.. forgets that today is public holiday... woke up early in the morning, get ready for my tuition class... and.... haha... went down to the tuition centre and the gate is down... and came to realize that today is public holiday.. no work for me! LOL... so embarrassing..haha.. Thereafter, went Eastpoint with mum and sis . Accompanied them for breakfast and we went to ikea and giant superstore. Bought a few dvds.. heehee.. more shows to watch at home.. ;)

4 days of leave!!!

Long waiting leave!!!

Went Cameron Highlands with JK, Mark and Ban.

It was fantastic!

We really can spend, we thought that 250 ringgit is more than enough... however...all of us left with $0 when we are heading back to SG.

We spent the bulk on food, tours and cab fares...

Alot of funny happenings along our way, during the journey... LOL

Too many to be mentioned here..

We shared lots of gossips, stories, jokes... etc.. haha

Non of us bring camera.. we just use my mobile to snap pictures along the way.. and we took more than 300 pictures in 3 days...

When we reached SG, we cab to Suntec for dinner at sakae sushi, cuz our dear JK craved for wasabi -.- who will crave for wasabi instead of food... FAINT! The 3 of them really monsters! Ate more than 35plates! That's for sure.. ;)

I'm feeling much much better now. :) No point crying over spilled milk.. Just try my best for the last 2 semesters! Dont ever regret again :)

Thanks lots to my family, my brothers (WH & Cavan) for helping me these few days. :D

 

I've set up a new website for me to input all the principles of accounts knowledge, notes, concepts. Also a good way for my students to communicate with me, for them to clarify any doubts they have. Currently the website is still in progress.."under construction". I'll try to upload all the notes as soon as possible. It may not be in time for their prelims, but definitely will be in time for their 'N'/'O' levels. Hope that this will help them more. :)

 

Tommorrow, I'm leaving SG for M'sia, I still yet to pack my stuff. LOL Actually nothing much to pack though... shall do it after my run later.. ;) A short trip to Cameron Highlands with Mark,OJK and Ban. Cool, I know I wont be bored on the coach, they will provide me with all the entertainment. I guess, this will be a good time for me to relax...which I've not been doing so for the past few months... I seriously need this break.

Thanks  Cavan, for being there for me.. didn't know that u'll read my blog though..

I hope that I can rationalize it myself.

Till now I'm still blaming myself.

Take for example, this module, I did all my tutorials, I really did it..

End up, what's the conclusion? I didn't do well. So disappointing... it's really disappointing....

I still trying to take this easy, I don't want this to affect my next semester..

Maybe it's my study methods, wrong technique... shall try new techniques then..

I just want to pull up my grades..

I'm so afraid that due to this bad economy, cant get a desire job...

Or maybe I'm just worrying too much..

Was browsing through his blog... all the way back to Aug'08... I guess he really missed and love his kitty lots.

So many things in my mind now.. these 2 days I wasn't that happy..as I was doing some reflections, about life, academic, social and everything. It's really good to do self reflections. I have a clearer picture of what I want and aim for the next semester. I'm very clear that my academic results are not fantastic, or I should say not up to my targets at all. All the way back to poly year 1, I have never feel so terrible like now.. I never worry about my examination results.. but now..I feel so terrible when people start asking me about my grades and start comparing who's results are good and stuff like that. I know that this is something that I need to overcome it myself, but I just can't walk out of this nightmare. These 2 years in uni, the most happiest semester was my year 2 sem 1. Uni results are really disappointing, and I start to hate the feeling of been take to comparison with others. Left with 1 year, if I work really hard, can I still manage to climb up by a bit? I really hope I can... Really thanks to my stats.. with that grade, I drop all the way down..I should consider myself lucky that I didnt fail...Is I I didnt put in much effort or I already reached my maximum.. I believe that I can push myself even further! I really dont want to give up, I'm 2/3 there... I just feel very sad and I know people who cares for me will be pondering, what happen to me? I'm really sad... I dont know who to talk to.. I want to drop him a message, but I know he's busy at work..shant disturb him..

Went back to school to collect grant from SAO on behalf of NAAT

Went over to Eunice place.. her brother drove us to school :)

Reached SAO, temperature taking..I was 33.5 degrees and she was 32.7 degrees.. LOL not that accurate I guess.

Talking about temperature..so sad to know that Jude was running high fever.. :( So worried... Hope that he can recover soon!

After I collected the cheque from SAO.. we went straight to SBS.. We volunteered to help out with NBS convocation!

Congrats to all my seniors! GRADUATED!

Both of us stayed throughout both shifts, we were the public ushers! LOL

Although kind of tiring as we had to stand throughout the event!

It was very fun though, we took more than 100 photos! haha! Love to take photos so much!

Took quite alot of pictures with my seniors!! Too bad Jude downwith fever cant attend convo.. :(

After the event, we took public transport home...Reached home at about 11pm..

Took a shower, met up with my Pri Sch friend, Julian for supper! Had a great chat with him! haha..

There are more chances.. LOL.. Reached home at about 1am.. Super tired..

 

Supposed to meet up with Boonshan and Mark for lunch.. but.. Shan not feeling well.. So we cancelled it..

Later in the evening, went tuition... :)

Simple day

 

Met up with Eunice,Jac & RC. We went back to school in the morning, some of them need to submit report to their tutors.

Eunice drove..

After we submitted the reports, we went stright to Science Center!

Purchased the Tickets to enter to DaVinci exhibit + $1, a package.. to enter the Science Center..

It supposed to be $16, with my passion card, $14 each! ;) $2 off..

We took more than 300 photos.. using 3 different cameras..

Just like 4 little kids visiting the science center..

DaVinci art work and his designs were great! Genius!

Looking at his work reminds me of D&T... Missed those days drawing my designs for my D&T finals..

Guess if I'm not an accountant now, I may be an engineer.. LOL

Day at the science center, guess I was too excited trying to turn some metal stuff for the water to flow up.. and hit left thigh..

Big blue black bruises now.. careless me.. it's so painful now.. :(

However, it was really great visiting the science center.. so guys.. where's our next stop???? ;)

We left at 6pm sharp.. cuz the center close at 6pm sharp..

Eunice drove RC to Jurong East station.. then she drove us to SengKang.. I took a bus from there to Tamp.

The expressway.. massive jam.. LOL

Supposed to meet Ros, mum and Bee at 7.. but I reach at 8pm..Sorry people... LOL.. its ok.. Bee reached even later than me.. LOL

We had Thai Express for dinner ;)

3 of us joining Latino Aerobics together! So excited!

 

So many friends falling sick... oh my..

After Friday's tuition, Bee came over to my house for MJ session

Super happy, it have been so long since we last play MJ

The game lasted till almost 2am

The next morning I woke up at 10am to prepare some stuff for Cavan..

He reached my house at about 1pm.

We had lunch..Ba Kut Teh! Yum yum!

However, something disappointing...

He is not able to help me with the tuition assignment that I'm going to hand over to him..

I can understand his situation...

Sorry Cavan, u came down all the way to my house..

After lunch, we had MJ session

Cavan is super lucky.. he helped me won some $..

Cuz I only won 2 games... no luck.. just not my day.. LOL

After cavan left, mum went to work...

Bee, Ros and I went to buy dinner and Ros went to enrol for French Lesons.. Cool!

We had monopoly game after dinner..

Guess what.. I lost more than $8k for the game.. really not my day for games.. haha

Gonna go for a run now.. later need to write my report!
